Great Vintage Sterling Abstract Fish Brooch by Sigi (Item #PM-sigifish)

Cool, mid-century mod, Mexican Sterling figural fish pin by Sigi. It measures 2 3/4" across and 1 1/4" from top to bottom. The design consists of a continuous ribbon-like piece of silver folded over to form an abstract fish shape, with an applied ball for the eye. This is a famous Sigi design. The piece has developed a nice, *very dark*, patina from age. The back is fully signed: STERLING HECHO EN MEXICO (worn), Sigi Tasco in an oval (worn, but consistent with Sigi mark), Eagle 3, 52 (design number). The pin is in very good condition with normal wear from use. Sigi jewelry is very well made and highly collectible.
