This is a wonderful Sterling child's silver flatware set by Lebolt and Co (Chicago, IL), circa 1910. Lebolt flatware is beautifully handwrought and hand hammered, and the pieces have substantial weight. This set is monogrammed "JOAN", and consists of a baby spoon (4 1/4" long), baby fork (4 1/4" long), and baby food pusher (approx 3 1/4" long from edge of pusher to end of handle). The handles, the backs of the spoon and fork, and the front of the food pusher exhibit hammer marks on the surface. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer child's set. There are light surface scratches and wear marks from use, but overall the set is in very good condition. All three items are marked: STERLING HANDMADE LEBOLT. Please ask if you have more specific questions about condition.
Lebolt & Company is a Chicago firm which is well known for their fine handmade and hammered Arts & Crafts flatware and holloware. Many pieces in this same pattern (called the Lebolt pattern) are pictured on page 111 of Sharon Darling's book, "Chicago Metalsmiths".
