German art deco 935 silver (Sterling is 925) pin with purple stone and marcasites by Theodor Fahrner (Germany), circa 1930. Measures 1 1/16" x 1 7/16", and is 5/16" thick. Purple synthetic stone looks like amethyst, and is held in place by fancy prongs. Marcasites mounted in swag border of very intricate frame (see back view). Very slight wear to facets of stone (not noticeable). Signed TF in circle (Fahrner hallmark) and 935. Great condition.
