Large English silver (possibly Sterling) A&C brooch with blue and white stones. Measures 1 1/2" x 1 3/4". In the center is a bezel set faceted blue topaz colored stone which is surrounded by 4 prong set faceted white stones. The stones are open to the back, and are bright and sparkling. Interspersed between the white stones are handwrought leaves and flowers set on a concentric oval frame. The back has a pin stem and C-clasp, plus a loop for attaching a safety chain if desired. The reverse is marked "SILVER". It is in excellent condition, and is a very beautiful and weighty piece somewhat reminiscent of pieces by Bernard Instone.
