This is a lovely Sterling American arts & crafts geometric necklace with amethyst stone, circa 1910. The geometric design has deco overtones. The pendant portion measures 13/16" across and 1 3/8" long. The silver is dimensional and curved slightly in the middle from north to south for dimensionality. There is a bezel set cabochon cut amethyst in the middle of the design, with oxidation along the side and base of the bezel. The original chain is attached, and it is approximately 16" around. The necklace is in excellent condition and is signed STERLING on the back. It is a nice example of American arts & crafts jewelry. There is light wear from normal use, and it has a nice light patina from age which I have not cleaned.
